Moulting Lagoon is a BIG lagoon and sits on the edge of Freycinet National Park filled with wildlife. I’d driven by this scene on the way to the park and the colours drew me, I just had to explore it more.
Filled with black swans, several species of birds (which I had no clue of their names), and hundreds of little soldier crabs in the sand….
(you can see I like the little crabs – their cute faces and iridescent colours)
Of course the magnificent view of the National Park and its granite ‘knuckles’ across the water.
There is also a free campsite, a bit sandy yet glorious views!
