We all love and know many Irish people and their history. This little Folk Village in Glencolmcille takes you back in time to how they lived on the wild coast with several traditional homes and items to the era. From a simple one room home – a fisherman’s home – school room and more.
The harsh climate and rock formations on the Wild Atlantic Coast is not conducive for trees to grow. Using peat from the hills for heating fuel and rocks to build their homes it would have been a hard, yet simple life.
